Transiting Cities seeks to help Latrobe Valley to shift from existing form of economic dependence to new, sustainable and resilient models, which will focus on creative practices. The project will include a special lease program for occupying redundant infrastructure with establishment 20 pop up shops across Latrobe’s four regional CBD’s: Moe, Morwell, Churchill and Traralgon, a shop front headquarters for the project and organisation of two arts and cultural festivals.

The ReActivate is Transiting Cities’ second stage in rehabilitation of regional areas that aims to boost cultural activity and community engagement, as well as strengthen local business and micro industries, and increase employment opportunities.
